Heinrich von Sacken

Heinrich von Sacken († December 16, 1646 ) was senior counselor and court master in the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia . He came from the German-Baltic noble family von Osten-Sacken .

Life

Heinrich von Sacken studied from 1620 at the University of Rostock . He was then in Swedish military service and was promoted to captain . Afterwards his political career began around 1631 with the office of captain of Goldingen . From 1631 to 1646 he was court master in the Duchy of Courland and Semgallia.
