Heinrichswalde (Friedland)
The Heinrichswalde district of the city of Friedland is located in the east of the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The settlement lies between the core town of Friedland and Schönbeck to the southeast.
The place was created in 1751 as a dairy farm belonging to the Brohm estate , which was owned by the von Rieben family . The manor house was built around 1800. In 1846, Carl Constantin von Rieben was forced to sell his inheritance to Adolph von Oertzen (1797–1867), his cousin Wilhelm von Oertzen and his brother-in-law, Georg Alexander von Rieben , who went to Heinrichswalde and Hohenstein by lot. From 1900 to 1945 the estate came into the possession of the von Brandenstein family as an inheritance . After the expropriation in 1945, it was used for residential purposes.
