Heinz-Bernd Heller
Heinz-Bernd Heller (born April 20, 1944 in Liegnitz ) is a German media scientist .
Life
Heinz-Bernd Heller studied German, Romance studies, sociology and political science in Marburg, Paris and Freiburg from 1966 to 1972. In 1972 he became a research assistant at the TH Karlsruhe and received his doctorate in 1973 from the GH Kassel . Between 1973 and 1984 Heller worked as a research assistant at GH Wuppertal , where he completed his habilitation in 1983. In 1987, Heller was appointed professor for media aesthetics and media history at the University of Marburg . Heller was visiting professor in Austin / Texas, Cairo and Moscow.
