Heinz-Uwe Küenle

Heinz-Uwe Küenle (born February 16, 1948 in Dessau ) is a German mathematician .

Life

Heinz-Uwe Küenle passed his Abitur in Dessau in 1967 and studied mathematics at the University of Leipzig from 1967 to 1972 , which he completed with a diploma. He then began to work as an assistant in the stochastics research group . In 1976 he was with his dissertation on a theme about Markov chains to Dr. rer. nat. PhD . In 1984 he received his habilitation .

In 1990, Heinz-Uwe Küenle was appointed professor of mathematics to the chair of mathematical modeling at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus at the Mathematical Institute .

Heinz-Uwe Küenle works in the field of Markow chains, stochastic games and stochastic decision-making processes . He has published over 20 publications in scientific journals. He gave lectures at conferences in Japan, Australia and Israel, among others. He retired in 2013 .

Heinz-Uwe Küenle has been married since 1970, he and his wife Christine live in Dessau. They have a son and a daughter.
