Heinz Dieter Stodolkowitz

Heinz Dieter Stodolkowitz (born October 20, 1937 in Ströbel, Wroclaw district ) is a German lawyer and judge who was a federal judge at the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe from 1988 to 2002 .

Life

After attending elementary school in Kathrinhagen ( Lower Saxony ) and the Ernestinum grammar school in Rinteln , Stodolkowitz passed his Abitur there in 1958 . In the same year he joined the financial administration of Lower Saxony. Only then did he complete a legal education, after which he switched to the higher judicial service in Lower Saxony as a court assessor in 1969 . In 1972 he was appointed regional judge at the Hanover regional court . In the following years, Stodolkowitz was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice as a research assistant and, following this secondment, was appointed judge at the Higher Regional Court in Celle in 1978 , where he worked until 1988.

After his appointment as judge at the Federal Court of Justice, Stodolkowitz first worked for a few weeks in the fifth civil senate and then in the second civil senate . In 1995 the presidium referred him to the IX. Civil Senate , of which he was a member until his retirement on April 30, 2002, most recently as deputy chairman.

Stodolkowitz is married and has one son.
