Heinz Findeisen

Heinz Findeisen (born September 17, 1919 ) was a German football player who was active from 1950 to 1951 for Rotation Dresden in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football . After his playing career, he worked as a coach in the lower class area.

Athletic career

Findisen was one of the first football players to take part in the championships in Saxony with SG Dresden-Mickten . In 1949 he won the Saxon soccer cup with Mickten, and in 1950 the championship. In the decisive game for the championship on April 10, 1950 in Chemnitz against SG Lauter (3: 2) Findeisen played as the right wing runner . After the successfully completed promotion games, in the phase of which the SG Mickten was affiliated with the company sports community (BSG) Sachsenverlag Dresden, the team around Findeisen played in the GDR league in 1950/51. There the BSG started under the new name Rotation Dresden. Of the 34 games played in the league, the 31-year-old Findeisen played 23 games as a midfielder, both in the center and on the left. In the 1951/52 season Findeisen was reactivated only for one league game. On the 6th matchday he was substituted on in the match Rotation Dresden - Turbine Halle (0: 1) in the 78th minute. After 24 point games with four goals, Heinz Findeisen's career as a player in the higher divisions was over.

After his playing career, Findeisen became a football coach . From 1954 he worked in the junior division and as an assistant coach for the upper division SC Empor Rostock and Motor Babelsberg . At the end of the 1950s he was a trainer at BSG Motor TuR Dresden-Übigau , with which he was promoted to the fourth class Dresden district league in 1958 . Later he was a trainer for the district league team Motor Radeberg . In the 1968/69 season he looked after the second division Chemistry Premnitz , but could not save him from relegation.
