Heinz Fischer is a former German skeleton athlete .

Heinz Fischer was one of the best German skeleton pilots in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was one of the early participants in the newly introduced Skeleton World Cup . Between 1990 and 1993 he took part in the skeleton world championships four times in a row . 1990 he was in Koenigssee 12, 1991 in Igls ninth, 1992 in Calgary again and 12th 1993 in La Plagne 15th National won Fischer in 1989 behind Thomas Platzer in Koenigssee the runner-up title as well as 1993 in Winterberg behindWilli Schneider . At the Bavarian Championships in 1991 Fischer came second, 1989, 1992, 1993 and 1994 third.
