Heinz Hanns

Heinz Hanns (born October 10, 1932 in Ringethal ) is a former German FDGB functionary and SED functionary. He was chairman of the FDGB in the Rostock district and a candidate for the Central Committee of the SED .

Life

Hanns, son of a working-class family, attended elementary school and learned to be a carpenter. In his job he was at SAG and SDAG Wismut in Schwarzenberg / Erzgeb. and at the Mathias Thesen shipyard in Wismar . In 1949 he joined the FDGB and in 1955 the SED. In 1954 he attended a course at the central school of the FDGB in Potsdam . From 1955 to 1958 he acted as secretary of the Rostock district board of IG Bau-Holz , and from 1958 to 1962 as deputy chairman of the district board of IG Bau-Holz Rostock .

From 1962 to 1965 he studied at the party college "Karl Marx" with a degree in social science . From 1965 to 1967 he worked as secretary for organization / management and from 1967 to 1989 he was chairman of the Rostock district board of the FDGB. From 1968 to 1989 Hanns was also a member of the Presidium of the Federal Board of the FDGB. In 1975 he was appointed chairman of the Standing Committee of the Workers' Conference of the Baltic States, Norway and Iceland .

Hanns was also a member of the district assembly and a member of the secretariat of the SED district leadership in Rostock. From 1976 to 1989 he was a candidate for the Central Committee of the SED.
