Heinz Hartnack (born July 2, 1929 in Berlin ; † January 1, 1990 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After graduating from secondary school, Hartnack was a flak helper in World War II and was then taken prisoner by the Soviets. He then trained as a publishing clerk and was district manager of DAG Lüneburg from 1959 to 1962 . He acted as chairman of the working group of Christian workers' organizations in Lower Saxony and as managing director of the Lower Saxony educational institute .

Political party

Hartnack joined the CDU in 1958. There he became both local chairman and deputy district chairman over time. From 1962 he was the state manager of the CDU social committees in Lower Saxony .

MP

In the 1961 federal election , he ran unsuccessfully on the CDU state list in Lower Saxony. In 1969 he ran again, initially unsuccessfully. On September 12, 1972, he then moved up to the Bundestag for Heinrich Schröder , who had resigned his mandate. Until the dissolution of the Bundestag on September 22, 1972, he was a member of parliament for ten days. He did not run for the 1972 election.
