Heinz Henn

Heinz Henn (born July 31, 1955 in Cologne ) is a German entrepreneur in the music industry .

Life

After an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk , he started in the international department of the record company EMI . There, Henn founded the Capitol / EMI America Germany division and in 1980 moved to EMI's Dutch branch as Managing Director. In 1987, Henn worked for EMI in Los Angeles and London .

Six years later, the music manager went to BMG in New York , where he worked as Senior Vice President until 1998 before setting up his own company, Henn Entertainment.

Heinz Henn has been working for the computer and video game company Take 2 Interactive in New York since 2003 and has worked on games such as GTA: San Andreas . He lives there today with his son and his partner. Henn's wife died of colon cancer in 1998 at the age of 34.

From 2005 to 2007 Heinz Henn was a juror in the casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar on the private broadcaster RTL (third and fourth season).
