Heinz Klever

Heinz Klever (born July 26, 1928 ; † August 24, 2006 ) was a German local politician ( CDU ) and honorary mayor of Kaarst from 1968 to 1999 .

Career

The master craftsman moved from Düsseldorf to Kaarst in 1963 . There he became a member of the CDU and was elected mayor in 1968. He stayed in office for 31 years. In 2004 he resigned from the city council and was honored with the title of honorary mayor, which was awarded for the first time. Klever was a member of the St. Hubertus Schützen Society in Neuss.
