Heinz Koch (soccer player)

Heinz Koch (born September 3, 1949 ) is a former German soccer player .

Koch began his football career at Borussia Mönchengladbach and joined VfL Osnabrück in 1970 . The powerful defensive midfielder made 279 games for VfL up to 1978 and scored 23 goals, 135 of which were games and 12 goals in the 2nd Bundesliga . After his active time, he trained lower-class clubs in the Osnabrück region . Today he runs a physiotherapy practice in Belm .
