Heinz Laßen

Heinz Laßen (born July 3, 1910 in Bromberg; † July 12, 1977 ) was a German party functionary of the GDR block party NDPD . He was chairman of the Frankfurt (Oder) district board of the NDPD.

Life

Born as the son of a railroad councilor, Laßen attended elementary and high school in Bromberg, graduated from high school and studied economics in Berlin. During his studies in 1929 he became a member of the Berlin fraternity Franconia , later in 1950 a member of the Berlin fraternity of Märker . On November 1, 1928, he joined the NSDAP (membership number 102.639) and became head of the NS student union. He broke off his studies in 1933 for financial reasons. From 1933 he was an employee of the “Studentenwerk Berlin”, from 1934 deputy managing director of the “Langemarckspende”, ban leader and from November 1940 chief ban leader in the NSDAP Reich Youth Leadership. He became a member of the SA . Later he did military service as a non-commissioned officer in the Wehrmacht .

In 1948 he became a member of the NDPD and a full-time functionary of the party. He was department head in the NDPD state executive committee for Brandenburg and in 1952 political manager. At the same time he was a member of the Brandenburg State Committee of the National Front . From 1954 to 1957 and from 1960 to 1964 he acted as chairman of the NDPD district association Frankfurt (Oder). From 1955 to 1967 he was a member of the main committee of the NDPD. At times he was a member of the Frankfurt (Oder) district assembly . Laßen was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze in 1964.

His son Uwe Laßen was also a functionary of the NDPD.
