Heinz Margot

Heinz Margot (born October 11, 1962 in Basel ) is a Swiss actor, presenter and restaurateur.

Margot grew up in Basel and worked from 1983 to 1985 for Radio Basilisk and then for Swiss Radio DRS as a presenter, editor and radio play director. From 1994 to 2018 he worked for Swiss television SF (then SF DRS) and moderated a. a. the Monday night quiz show "Megaherz"; In addition, Margot presented the SF programs on the Basel Carnival for many years . Today he is an actor, cabaret artist, speaker, copywriter and event organizer and can currently be seen on the Swiss stages together with Michael Schacht in the “Philip Maloney Reading Tour”.

From 2002 to 2011 Margot lived in Zermatt , where he mainly devoted himself to his own catering establishments.

Margot is currently living in Basel again. His son is the comedian Joël von Mutzenbecher .
