Heinz Meixner (Markscheider)

Heinz Meixner (born January 19, 1935 in Beuthen ; † June 17, 2016 ) was a German mine separator . At the TU Bergakademie Freiberg he held the chair for mine surveying and mining damage science and taught as a full professor.

Meixner is co-author and editor of the standard work Markscheidewesen for mining disciplines . In 1964 he received his doctorate with the dissertation Investigation of the Accuracy of Tellurometer Measurements with Special Consideration of Systematic Influences in Lignite Opencast Mines as Dr. and completed his habilitation three years later.
