Heinz Radloff

Heinz Radloff (born June 5, 1921 in Gollnowshagen , Naugard district , Pomerania ; † February 14, 1998 in Osterode am Harz ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After attending primary school, Heinz Radloff completed an agricultural apprenticeship and attended a technical school. He was called up for military service in 1941, from which he was released two years later after he lost his left arm, severely damaged by the war . He then worked from 1943 to 1948, initially in the food administration in various offices in Stettin , Camin , Goslar and Osterode am Harz , and then in local government . He passed the exams for the middle administrative and cashier service (1952) and the upper administrative and cashier service (1956).

Heinz Radloff was married.

Offices and memberships

In 1947 Radloff joined the Reichsbund and the trade union for public services, transport and traffic and became a board member of the German trade union confederation in the Osterode district . He also joined the SPD in 1947, and in 1968 he took over the chairmanship of the SPD sub-district Harz. He was a member of various organizations, including the board of directors of the Osteroder Kreissparkasse and the board of trustees of the Harzwasserwerke. From 1968 he also became a member of the district council and was an active member of the Osteroder district committee. For his work he was awarded the Cross of Merit First Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany . From June 6, 1967 to June 20, 1990 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (6th to 11th electoral period).
