Heinz Rybarczyk (born February 4, 1926 ) is a former German football player who was active in the 1950s for the BSG Einheit Ost Leipzig and the SC Rotation Leipzig in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

Until 1950, Heinz Rybarczyk played with the company sports association (BSG) Erich Zeigner Leipzig in the second-class state class of Saxony and helped her qualify for the newly established second-class football league of the German Sports Committee , which was later called the GDR League . In the 1950/51 season the BSG went under the new name BSG Einheit Ost Leipzig, and Rybarczyk completed all 18 league games. In the following two seasons he was still part of the team, he was used in 42 matches in the 46 point games played. In 1953 the BSG Einheit Ost was promoted to the GDR league. There Rybarczyk took at the beginning of the 1953/54 season as usual his regular place as a defender and was used regularly until the sixth league game. In this game he was injured so badly that he was out for the rest of the season. At the beginning of the 1954/55 season he was restored, but this time played only the first three league games. It was only in the second half of the season, after the soccer section of BSG Einheit Ost was incorporated into the newly founded sports club Rotation Leipzig in November 1954, that Rybarczyk was used at irregular intervals in another five point games for the sports club. In the fall of 1955, a transition round was held in all leagues in GDR football, which served to change from the summer-spring game rhythm to the calendar year season. During this round Rybarczyk played for SC Wissenschaft Halle in the GDR league. He was used nine times in the 13 transition games. At the beginning of the 1956 season he would have been 30 years old, but had already said goodbye to competitive football. In his six years in high-class football, he had played fourteen times in the GDR upper league and played in 69 GDR league games. In all of these encounters he hadn't scored a goal.
