The Heitō Glacier ( Japanese 平 頭 氷河 Heitō-hyōga , German 'Flachgipfelgletscher' ) is a glacier on the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the southern part of the Langhovde it flows along the south side of Mount Heito in a westerly direction.
Aerial photographs and measurements of a Japanese Antarctic expedition that lasted from 1957 to 1962 were used to map it. The naming took place in 1973 based on that of Mount Heito.
