Helen DeWitt
Helen DeWitt (* 1957 in Takoma Park , Maryland ) is an American author . Her best-known work is the debut novel The Last Samurai , published in 2000 .
Helen DeWitt is the daughter of a diplomatic couple and grew up in South America. She studied at the University of Oxford where he acquired in 1989 at Brasenose College their Dr. phil. She lives in Berlin.
