Helga Bahmer
Helga Bahmer (* 1971 in Heidenheim ) is a filmmaker living in Hamburg .
Career
Helga Bahmer studied photography and environmental design at the University of Mainz . She then studied at the Art Academy for Media in Cologne . In 2009 she completed the additional course in film directing . This year she received funding from the Filmstiftung NRW for her project “Phantomschmerz Mladic” . In 2010 she took part in the European material development program "Ex Oriente". In 2012, Bahmer received screenplay funding from the Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein Film Fund for her documentary film project “War on the Carpet” . It was recorded in 2014 at the Bavarian Film Center as part of the “First Movie Program” project.
