Helga Thaler Ausserhofer (born April 13, 1952 as Helga Thaler in Sand in Taufers ; other spelling: Helga Thaler Ausserhofer ) is an Italian politician of the South Tyrolean People's Party and economic advisor.

biography

Thaler Ausserhofer graduated from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 1976 with a degree in economics and passed the qualification test as an economic and tax consultant in 1977. In 1978 she opened a law firm in Bruneck with her husband Walter Ausserhofer .

In 1992, Thaler Ausserhofer was elected to the Italian Chamber of Deputies on the list of the South Tyrolean People's Party ; after the early end of the legislative period in 1994, she successfully ran for the Senate , to which she was a member until 2013. Within the SVP, she is an exponent of the economic wing.
