Hella Lenz has dedicated herself to reverse glass painting since the beginning of her artistic activity. Her profession is still lifes , which thematize the beauty of nature, but often just as simple objects from everyday life.

In her pictures, things are placed in a new, unfamiliar relation, the real is brought into a context that has sprung from the imagination and is sometimes puzzling. “Anyone who paints still lifes,” says Hella Lenz, “is not distracted by external things, but feels honestly, almost intimately connected with the objects.”

In addition to the still lifes, numerous portraits and watercolors were created. In the last few years she has painted behind glass pictures on the subject of "circus, clowns, artists".
