Ian Mitchell (born June 10, 1955 in Farnborough ) is a British racing car driver .

Racing career

Ian Mitchell has competed in GT and sports car races at irregular intervals since the early 2000s . He started the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring , where he entered the race for the last time in 2018 and was unable to classify.

In 2005 he was registered in both the Sebring 12-hour race and the Le Mans 24-hour race . While the Courage C65 he was driving failed at Sebring after an engine failure, he and his teammates Tim Mullen and Phil Bennett finished 24th overall at Le Mans .
