Alexander di Capri (* 1974 in Fulda ) is a German singer ( tenor ) and actor .
Life
Alexander di Capri studied singing and acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main , as well as at the Juilliard School in New York . He works as a singer, actor, musical actor and producer . He portrayed on TV in the ORF - TV game Herzensfeinde Antonio Corsair, in the ARD - TV series Forbidden Love the professor Ittershagen, the male played the main role in the play fake blood , the Winnetou at the Karl May Festival Winzendorf or the role of Oliver in Shakespeare Play As You Like It . He also appeared on musical stages as Graf von Krolock in the musical Tanz der Vampire , as the Beast in Disney's Beauty and the Beast or as Archbishop Colloredo in the musical Mozart! . He could also be seen as Marius and Jean Valjean in Les Misérables , as Che and Perón in Evita , as Judas and Pilatus in Jesus Christ Superstar , Bill and Sam in the musical Mamma Mia! , in the lead role of Jekyll & Hyde or as Frank Farmer in Bodyguard .
The singer also made appearances on the stage in front of the Brandenburg Gate with his own title Besa Me (2015) and his single Come Together (2016), which he u. a. presented in the Barclaycard Arena , the Schwerin Castle Festival and the Fürther Freiheit. In 2017, Alexander di Capri brought the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar by Andrew Lloyd Webber in a concert version as producer and director to the First Stage Theater in Hamburg . In 2019 he is named Dr. Watson in the musical Sherlock Holmes - Next Generation on stage in Hamburg.
Alexander di Capri lives in Hamburg, is married to Franca Barthel, the managing director of the press and online promotion agency franel , and has one child.
