Drew Sarich (born August 24, 1975 in St. Louis , Missouri ) is an American musical actor .

Life

The tenor played the bell ringer in the world premiere of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame in Berlin and the Judas and Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar in various productions. He also appeared in the roles of Jean Valjean, Grantaire, Javert and Enjolras in Les Misérables on Broadway in New York and in the West End in London .

In Vienna he played the title role in the musical Rudolf - Affaire Mayerling until January 2010 . From November 2010 to June 2011 he was seen in the role of Count von Krolock in Tanz der Vampire in the Ronacher in Vienna and also took over this role in the Stage Theater des Westens in Berlin until January 28, 2012. He played Curtis Shank in Sister Act im Ronacher, Vienna from September to November 2011, then took a break for Tanz der Vampire in Berlin. He then returned to Vienna, where he continued his role as Curtis until June 2012. From November 18, 2012, he played the lead role in the Rocky musical in Hamburg . In October 2013 Drew Sarich played the Phantom of the Opera in the Vienna concert version of Love Never Dies for 10 performances . In 2017 he appeared again in Jesus Christ Superstar in Hamburg. In 2017/2018 he played the title role in "Vivaldi - The Fifth Season by Christian Kolonovits " at the Vienna Volksoper . From May to June 2018 he could be seen again at the Vienna Ronacher in the role of Count Krolock in "Dance of the Vampires".

He lives in Vienna, is married to musical performer Ann Mandrella and has two children.
