The hella mineral water is obtained from a forest well at a depth of around 300 meters in Schleswig-Holstein . The source of mineral-rich soil and rock layers superimposed. The deep water from which the mineral water is obtained migrates through the natural rock layers, is filtered and at the same time dissolves minerals and trace elements from the rocks, which are responsible for the taste. The bottling plant is located at the hella spring in Trappenkamp , where up to 38,000 bottles are filled per hour.

Hella is the sponsor of the “hella half marathon” in Hamburg, the “hella marathon night” in Rostock and the largest open youth beach volleyball tournament in the world, the “Young Beach”. The “hella Freshness” mineral spring in the Trappenkamp adventure forest has been in operation since 2007 , from which mineral water gushes from spring to autumn.
