The Hansa-Heemann AG is a producer and distributor of bottled water and soft drinks, headquartered in Rellingen .

In addition to Hansa-Heemann AG, the group includes Hansa-Heemann Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, Hansa Mineralbrunnen GmbH and lehja personalmanagement GmbH.

Production takes place across Germany in the production plants. Marketing takes place nationally and internationally via the classic sales channels, i.e. food retailers , beverage wholesalers and gastronomy . There are mineral water and produces soft drinks and different varieties in different package sizes and trade marketed brands and private labels. The main brands are hella , the Fürst Bismarck Quelle and Sankt Michaelis. The company has also been producing branded products on behalf of international suppliers since 2012.

Products include mineral water , spritzers , lemonades , sports and energy drinks and fruit juice and tea drinks , cola , vitamin drinks , isotonic drinks , iced tea and near-water products .

history

The company was founded in 1973 as Nord Getränke GmbH & Co. KG. In 1977 Holsten-Brauerei AG entered as a limited partner. In 1986 shares in Ernst Heemann Mineralbrunnen Beiseförth GmbH & Co. KG were acquired. Subsequently, the company was renamed EMIG AG in 1955. The fruit juices that had been produced up to then were outsourced in 2000.

In 2001 the company was named Hansa-Brunnen AG. After the takeover of Ernst Heemann Mineralbrunnen Beiseföhrt GmbH & Co. KG in 2004, the company operated under the current name Hansa-Heemann AG and the Lange family became sole owners.

In 2007 the Bruchsal plant went into operation and the aseptic filling facility was set up. The packaging division was established a year later. In 2014 the Bruchsal plant was expanded with the installation of two new systems. In 2017, the company took over Fürst-Bismarck-Quelle in Aumühle from the Nestlé group .

The Hansa-Heemann AG produces brands for discounters in Germany, Poland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Shareholders and holdings

The sole owner of the Hansa-Heemann company has been Ursula Lange, one of the two daughters of Friedrich Jungheinrich , the founder of the Jungheinrich group of the same name , since 2004 . The chairman of the supervisory board is Wolff Lange, the son of Ursula Lange.

The company holds 100% shares in each of Hansa-Heemann Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, Hansa Mineralbrunnen GmbH and lehja Personalmangemeht GmbH, EFG-Getränke GmbH (Hamburg), Fürst Bismarck Quelle and Jakobus Getränke GmbH.

Locations

The head office is in Rellingen , where corporate planning and control takes place. In Aumühle (Sachsenwald near Hamburg) products from the Fürst-Bismarck-Quelle are bottled. The factories in Bruchsal (Baden-Württemberg) and Kloster Lehnin (near Berlin) facilitate the nationwide distribution of the products. At the location in Löhne (North Rhine-Westphalia) there is deep water from the Weser Uplands as a source.

The source of hella and St. Michaelis is in Trappenkamp (Schleswig-Holstein), where the bottling also takes place.

Company certification

Company certification is carried out on the one hand by SMETA (Sendes Memeber's Ethical Trade Audit) with regard to working conditions, occupational safety and hygiene as well as environmental management. In addition, Hansa-Heeman carries the label " Logib-D " (equal pay in the company Germany) and successfully participates in the bonus system of the professional association for food and hospitality .
