Hellenika - Yearbook for the Friends of Greece is a neo- Greek journal thathas been published since 1966 and publishedby Isidora Rosenthal-Kamarinea , Professor of Neo- Greek Studies at the University of Bochum . After her death, it has been published in a new episode with a different subtitle since 2006 as Hellenika - Yearbook for Greek Culture and German-Greek Relations , edited by the Association of German-Greek Societies (President: Sigrid Skarpelis-Sperk, Editor: Cay Lienau , under Collaboration with Anastasios Katsanakis and (until 2016 :) Elmar Winters-Ohle).

The aim of the magazine is to arouse and cultivate interest in the modern Greek culture through a wide range of topics and to examine unknown aspects of German-Greek relations.

The magazine was founded in 1964 and was published three times a year until 1972, and as a yearbook since 1973 (the years 1977 and 1978 were not published). The magazine is currently distributed by Lit Verlag in Münster.
