Hellur [ ˈhɛdlʊɹ ] or Hellurnar ( Danish name : Heller ) is a place in the Faroe Islands on the east coast of the island of Eysturoy

Hellur is located on the south bank of the fjord Oyndarfjørður , after which the next larger town opposite is named. Hellur was founded in 1849 by settlers from Lambi further south .
