Helmi Boxberger

Helmi Boxberger (born March 7, 1950 in Altötting ) is a German swimmer and Olympic participant. The 1.74 m tall and at the time 63 kg athlete competed for SV Nikar Heidelberg .

In 1972 she became German champion over 200 m medley .

She took part in the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 and in Munich in 1972 , but could not qualify for a final. Your results:

    • 100 m freestyle: 1: 05.1 min (26th place among a total of 57 starters).
    • 200 m medley: 2: 45.2 min (31st place among 39 starters)

Even the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay , to which she belonged in Mexico in 1968, did not make it into the final. The team ( Heidi Reineck , Aloisia Bauer , Ingeborg Renner and Helmi Boxberger) came in 12th place out of 15 participating relays in 4: 19.4 minutes.
