Helmut Göschel

Helmut Göschel (born September 19, 1944 in Weimar ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Sinsheim , Helmut Göschel studied at the Heidelberg University of Education until 1967 . He then worked as a teacher in Sinsheim until 1995. Göschel is married and has two children.

politics

From 1975 to 1980 Göschel was a local councilor in Waldangelloch . Since 1975 he has also been a member of the Sinsheim municipal council . From 1999 to 2007 he was also chairman of the SPD parliamentary group there. From 1973 to 2009 and since 2014 he has been a member of the Rhein-Neckar District Council. Göschel had already been elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg in 1987 . Until 2006 he was a member of a total of five legislative terms. There he represented constituency 41 (Sinsheim) and was the transport policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group.
