Helmut Geuthner

Helmut Geuthner (born December 19, 1920 ) is a German soccer player. He played for the BSG Wismut Aue a total of 52 times in the GDR upper league .

Career

He transferred to season 1950/51 for BSG Zentra Wismut Aue in the newly formed East German league . In the very first season he and the team secured the championship in the southern season and thus promotion to the GDR league. In addition, the Auer were able to win the game for the GDR league championship against the BSG Anker Wismar .

In the 1951/52 season he made his debut on September 2, 1951 for the club now starting as BSG Wismut Aue in the GDR league. In the 3-1 win against BSG Turbine Erfurt , he was used by coach Walter Fritzsch for the entire 90 minutes. He scored his only goal for BSG Wismut Aue on February 10, 1952 in the game against BSG Motor Oberschöneweide . In the 1-1 draw, he scored the 1-0 lead for Wismut Aue in the 61st minute. In the 1952/53 season she finished second at the end of the season, tied behind SG Dynamo Dresden . Because of the equality of points, a decision game had to decide the championship title. In the decider of the GDR football league in 1952/53 he and his team lost 3-2 against Dresden.

After the 1953/54 season he left the BSG Wismut Aue and ended his career.
