Helmut Heinrich (politician)

Helmut Heinrich (born December 4, 1947 in Berlin ) is a German CDU politician .

Heinrich, who passed his Abitur in 1967, attended administration school and completed his training in 1972 with the career examination to become a graduate in administration. He worked as a clerk, as a group leader in the personnel office and city guardian, later he headed human resources management and from 1984 he was a consultant at the Berlin Senator for Transport and Companies, most recently in the role of a government director. He was also a member of the Komba , where he was also active on the state board, and he was a member of the board of the Keller-Budenberg Foundation.

In 1977 Heinrich joined the CDU, where he held the post of deputy chairman of the local association from 1985. Later he also rose to the district and state boards. In 1989 he was appointed to the district councilor for economics and finance in the Charlottenburg district , from 1995 onwards he was also allowed to hold the office of deputy district mayor. In 1999 he resigned from the office of the District City Council, but was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he was a member until 2001.
