Helmut Ketels

Helmut Ketels (born September 22, 1927 in Itzehoe ; † January 31, 2014 ) was a German dancer and actor in film and television.

Live and act

Shortly after the Second World War, Ketels received training as a dancer and singer in Hamburg and Berlin. He took his first professional steps in his hometown, then he worked - mostly as a freelance - in a wide variety of artistic fields (theater, film, opera, operetta, musical). In the film of the 1950s, Helmut Ketels was preferred in dance interludes and later was Marika Rökk's dance partner on stage for eleven years . Both also appeared together on television. In addition to a few appearances in television films, Helmut Ketels was engaged primarily with dance interludes in television shows such as Haifischbar , Zwischenmahlzeit , Paul's party and When the white lilacs bloom again . In 1987 he returned to Rökk for the last time in front of the camera in the feature film Königswald Castle .
