Helmut Kraft (veterinarian)

Helmut Kraft (born December 27, 1927 in Nuremberg ; † December 8, 2010 ) was a German veterinarian .

Career

Kraft studied veterinary medicine at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the University of Zurich . In 1953 he received his doctorate in Munich . Kraft completed his habilitation in 1958 with the thesis Investigations on the resting nucleus of leukocytes of mammals with special consideration of gender-specific characteristics . In 1965 he was given an extraordinary professorship at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, and in 1978 he was appointed to a C 3 professorship for internal medicine at the veterinary faculty.

His scientific work focused on internal veterinary medicine, hematology and forensic veterinary medicine.
