Helmut Licklederer alias Lick (born March 12, 1955 in Ingolstadt ) is a Bavarian musician, songwriter, songwriter and storyteller. He is known musically for his satirical songs, which he performs as a singer-songwriter on the guitar. In addition, he also plays Bavarian rhythm'n blues in a flexible line-up in a duo and with a band under the name Blues Lick .

Career

Licklederer began to write his first songs in the high German language and with socially critical topics at the age of 15. The first band contacts and appearances came as a guitarist and singer. After various training courses in music, music became exclusively his profession. As a live musician, various musical stations followed, from classical ensembles to rock and blues bands to dance and street music as well as experimental music. From the mid-80s, Helmut Licklederer worked as a socially critical songwriter.

In addition to his cabaret appearances, Licklederer still works musically in various cultural programs, large-scale rallies, protest events and in collective bargaining between the DGB and IG-Metall , e.g. B. in Ingolstadt, Neutraubling and Passau. In 1997 he wrote the song “As Geid is enough ma nimma” for a protest event in the wake of the pension reform.

Since 1995 Licklederer has been performing as a Bavarian singer-songwriter, blues musician and humorous storyteller under "Blues Lick" with a flexible cast at festivals and cabaret stages. Helmut “Lick” Licklederer is currently on the road with his humorous roots music program “Da Deifesweg” with various musicians from the Bavarian scene.

The album "Da Deifesweg", released in September 2011, was immediately nominated for the German Record Critics' Prize.
