There were two runner-up titles during this time for Helmut Siber, who had his best season in 1966/67 with 15 goals. Two seasons in Wattens followed, a year at Donawitzer SV Alpine and finally in 1972 the return to Innsbruck. Helmut Siber was able to become Austrian champion here, but after the departure of coach Egon Herlan he had no more appearances. So Helmut Siber decided to end his professional career at the second-class FC Dornbirn in Vorarlberg in 1913 , with whom he failed as regional league champion in 1974 in relegation to promotion to the Bundesliga.
