Helmut Sienknecht

Helmut Sienknecht (born September 15, 1935 in Hamburg ; † January 22, 2020 ) was a German educator .

Life

He studied education and became a teacher. After the second state examination , he returned to the university and became a doctoral candidate with Georg Geißler . After receiving his doctorate in 1968, he was an assistant and director of studies at the Lüneburg University of Education . In 1972 he became senior scientific adviser at the University of Hamburg . He taught there from 1983 to 2000 as a professor for school education .
