Helmut Wenzl
Helmut Franz Theresia Wenzl (born March 27, 1934 in Auschowitz , Marienbad ; † February 21, 2018 in Wolfratshausen ) was a German physicist . He was a professor of experimental physics at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen and director at the Institute for Solid State Research at the Jülich nuclear research facility .
In 1987 he was appointed a full member of the natural science class of the Sudeten German Academy of Sciences and Arts .
