Helmuth Euler

Helmuth Euler (born November 29, 1933 in Werl ; † March 4, 2020 Unna ) was a German non-fiction author , photographer and filmmaker .

Life

Helmuth Euler studied photography and film technology in Cologne, he graduated as a qualified engineer and master photographer. In 1959 he opened a photo cinema business with a studio in Werl , which he later rented out. In 1961 he made the first color documentary film with sound about Werl, with the title Werlorama. Euler lived in Werl and was married to the photographer Henriette Euler.
