Helwig Pütter
Helwig Pütter (* 1920 in Hagen ; † October 26, 2003 ibid) was a painter who was known far beyond his hometown Hagen with his works. Since 1938 the painter's artistic work has been exhibited in many European , African and Asian countries, as well as in almost all major German cities.
Life
Helwig Pütter had been a member of the Hagener Künstlerbund Hagenring since 1949 , which he chaired from 1967 to 1973 together with the Hagen painters Carl Baumann and Horst Becking . In 1980 Pütter founded the painting school Hagen together with the gallery owner Hans-Werner Gey , in memory of the painting school of the city of Hagen in the 1920s. Since 1992, Pütter has been supported by Helga Haase . In 1999 the painting school became an independent company under civil law and was continued by the two partners Haase and Pütter.
