history

The villa with a cast iron arbor was built around 1875. The hipped roof construction consists - typical for Lower Franconia and like several properties in Bad Kissingen - from unplastered red sandstone . The cast iron balcony structure is linked to this simple construction.

In the era of National Socialism four residents of the estate of persecution were affected. The siblings Carola Manasse (née Kissinger), Else Kissinger, Emma Kissinger and Siegfried Kissinger were deported to Riga (Carola Manasse), the Izbica ghetto (Else Kissinger) and the Treblinka concentration camp (Emma Kissinger and Siegfried Kissinger). The exact place and time of death is unknown for all four siblings. A stumbling block in front of the property reminds of them .
