Hendrik Liebers (born December 18, 1975 in Karl-Marx Stadt ) is a German football player who grew up in the GDR . He is a midfielder and left footed.

Career

Hendrik Liebers began his professional career at Chemnitzer FC in his hometown. With the CFC he won the Sachsenpokal in 1996 and 1997 and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1999 . In the same year he moved to the 2nd team at Bayer 04 Leverkusen .

After a year at Leverkusen, he moved to second division MSV Duisburg in 2000 , where he played 30 league games in two years. From January 2003 to June 2004 he played for SpVgg Unterhaching , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in summer 2003. From the beginning of the 2004/05 season to the 2007/2008 season he was under contract with FC Erzgebirge Aue . In the 2008/09 season he moved back to his hometown club Chemnitzer FC, where he was under contract until 2010. He then joined the FSV Grün Weiss Klaffenbach, with whom he played in the Chemnitz regional league in the 2011/12 season.

After his active career as a professional footballer, he remained loyal to football as a coach. He accompanied various clubs from his home region. For example SV Olbernhau and FC Stollberg.

He is currently working as an assistant trainer at FSV Grün-Weiß Klaffenbach. In the current 2018/2019 season, he celebrated the championship in the Chemnitz regional league with the green-whites 5 game days before the regular end of the season. Together with his coaching colleague and long-time friend Sven Neumann, he prepared the team for promotion to the Landeskasse West. After this successful season as assistant coach in Klaffenbach, he will interrupt his coaching career. So far he has left it open where he will continue his career.
