The Hengelsbach is a 1.9 km long orographically right tributary of the Möhne on the border of the North Rhine-Westphalian Brilon and Rüthen , Germany .
geography
The stream rises on the Schnadestein on the Dinkboke in the saddle between the Streitberg and the unnamed mountain in the northwest at an altitude of 423 m above sea level. NN . Flowing to the southwest, the brook initially forms the border between Brilon and Rüthen . In the middle reaches the brook flows through the nature reserve Hengelsbach . After a distance of 1.9 km the brook flows southeast of Heidberg at 379 m above sea level. NN on the right in the Möhne .
With a height difference of 89 m, the mean bed slope is 46.8 ‰. The approximately 1.12 km² catchment area is drained to the North Sea via the Möhne, Ruhr and Rhine .
