Henner Gimpel

Henner Gimpel is a German professor for industrial engineering at the University of Augsburg.

Life

Gimpel studied industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) with a focus on business administration and applied computer science . He became a member of the Corps Saxonia Karlsruhe and in 2004 he was the second local speaker of the Weinheim Senior Citizens' Convention . His doctoral thesis deals with the interface between business informatics and behavioral economics . In 2006, he was from the Faculty of Economics to Dr. rer. pole. PhD. He was a management consultant at McKinsey for five years . He is currently professor of industrial engineering at the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Technology at the University of Augsburg . In addition, he works at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology FIT in finance and information management and business informatics . He is a lecturer at the Bavarian Elite Academy and the Fraunhofer Academy .
