Henning Krumrey

Henning Krumrey (born April 6, 1962 in Berlin ) is a German journalist .

Krumrey studied economics and political science in Berlin and Cologne and graduated from the Cologne School of Journalism . From 1988 to 1992 he was a correspondent in the Bundestag for Wirtschaftswoche . From 1992 he worked as a Bundestag correspondent for Focus . In 1997 he became head of the parliamentary editorial office at Focus. Krumrey was a guest on the Press Club program several times and became known to a wide audience.

At the end of 2009 he was elected chairman of the Cologne School of Journalism.

From 2009 to 2015 Krumrey was deputy editor-in-chief of Wirtschaftswoche, but he left the Handelsblatt publishing group at the end of 2015 and has been the new head of the Politics and Communication department at the ALBA Group since January 1, 2016 .

As a (co-) author, Krumrey wrote the books Children - a Luxury? (1995) and Upswing East (1992). He is married and has 3 children.
