Henning-Leopold von Hassell
Adalbert Burkhart Hartmut Henning-Leopold von Hassell (born April 18, 1929 in Königsberg (Prussia) ; † 1996 ) was a German diplomat .
Life
Henning Leopold von Hassell was the son of the Oberpräsidialrat Karl von Hassell . He studied political science and law , and in 1952 at the University of Tuebingen for Doctor of Law doctorate . From February 14, 1971 to 1977, Henning Leopold von Hassell was first class counselor in Santiago de Chile and from 1992 to 1993 the German Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Nicosia .
In 1977 he received the Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany
