Henning Pleijel

Henning Bernhard Mathias Pleijel (born July 5, 1873 in Vimmerby ; † January 20, 1962 ) was a Swedish physicist and electrical engineer .

Life

From 1892 to 1913 he was a member of the Swedish Board of Telecommunications . From 1914 he was professor at the Royal Technical University of Stockholm and from 1922 to 1927 its rector.

In the 1930s he was chairman of the Nobel Prize Committee in Physics at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences .
