Henning Schliephake

Henning Schliephake (born February 27, 1960 in Gladbeck ) is a German specialist in general surgery and for oral and maxillofacial surgery . He is the head of the department for oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen .

Life

Schliephake studied dentistry from 1979 to 1984 and human medicine from 1982 to 1989 at the Hannover Medical School . In January 1985 he was licensed as a dentist and in December 1990 as a doctor . In 1988 he received his doctorate. med. dent. and in April 1990 Dr. med. at the Hannover Medical School.

In October 1995 he qualified as a professor for oral and maxillofacial surgery. Since 2000 he has headed the Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Georg-August University in Göttingen. In 2011 he was elected a member of the Leopoldina .
