Henning Tegetmeyer

Henning Tegetmeyer (born January 12, 1572 in Braunschweig , † March 16, 1618 in Göttingen ) was an Evangelical Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of Göttingen.

Life

Tegetmeyer, son of an administrator in the monastery of Riddagshausen and a master's degree , took up his first pastor's position in 1599 at the St. Jacobi Church in Göttingen . In 1610 he moved to the St. Johannis Church , also in Göttingen. For the first time in his tenure, the office of general superintendent of the Principality of Göttingen was connected with this. At the same time, Tegetmeyer was a professor at the Göttingen Education Center .
